Don't let their happy, smiley faces kid you . . . it was snowing and FREEZING! 2 hours earlier, it was sunny, but since nothing good comes without a few trials and obstacles, it began to snow. Luckily, these two are such happy kids that they smiled for me while they were shivering! This was also the beautiful little girl's 6 year-old birthday pictures (so you don't think I was playing favorites!).

The image above is the front photo cover - the book is a hard-back/ library-bound/lay-flat album. Did any of that make sense? So the part of the image that has 6 pictures on it is really the back of the book. Really, just let me know if you have any questions or you want to change anything! I hope you like it!
Earlier, I mentioned that I would be doing a few mini-sessions in February to take advantage of the fun winter pictures. I've settled on Saturday, February 7th in the afternoon, and also on Sat. Feb. 28th in the afternoon. The sessions will be up in Morgan, out in the fields or by the old bldgs. or on the RR tracks - you get to decide what look you want and we can customize the session to whatever you're looking for. I've been so lucky to have been able to take pictures of this little cutie a lot this year, and one thing I've noticed, is he's almost always smiling! He's such a sweet little guy, and I'm so happy my little Jake gets to be friends with this little Jack! Happy 1st, Jack!
The suckers are always a big hit. It didn't last very long - probably since his little fingers were so cold!
His nap got cut short, and he was tired by this time, but playing with mommy always makes everything better!
I probably need to apologize for this picture on the very public blog, but it just makes me giggle! He was not going to look over his shoulder at me for anything, so I took the picture anyway! I hope you like them - there's a LOT more where these came from!
Well, I've had a lot of people mention that they would love to get some family pictures done outside in the winter, but they are usually hesitant to commit to a full hour-long session because it's dang cold outside! In response, I'll be doing a "mini-session" day (date coming soon - I just can't commit!) for those who want a few pictures out in the snow. The sessions will last about 20 minutes and will include 1 family pose and 1 separate pose of each child up to 4 kids (additional people take more time and will be $10 per additional person). The sessions will cost $50 and will include 1 8x10 print. Additional prints are available for a discounted rate of $15 per sheet.
